❤ Satsa på kvalitét 
Börja med att köpa de bästa borstarna som du har råd med. Om de har riktigt bra kvalitet kan de faktiskt hålla i flera år, vilket ju spar dig både pengar och tid än att köpa nya, halvbra varje år. Borstar som har riktigt hår är i regel fluffigare och är bättre på att både plocka upp färgpigment och applicera det exakt var du vill ha det. Men när det gäller flytande produkter och cremer, som till exempel foundation, är faktiskt syntetborstar bäst.

 ❤ Rengör ofta 
Håll dina borstar rena! Tvätta dem med vatten och en mild tvål åtminstone två gånger i veckan. Har du borstar av riktigt hår är ditt vanliga schampo också ett bra alternativ. När du fått dina penslar rena, skölj dem med vatten och låt dem ligga för att torka på en handduk. Ställ dem inte upp i en mugg för att torka, vattnet kan komma att tränga ner i hårstråna och ge borsten en onaturlig form.
